Jang Da Ah Almost Became Dancer? Star Reveals Position If She Debuted as K-pop Idol
If Jang Da Ah debuted as a K-pop idol like her younger sister IVE Jang Wonyoung, what official position would she like to take?
On April 30, the YouTube channel, "Man Noblesse" uploaded a video with Jang Da Ah, an actress who rose to fame for starring in Netflix's "Pyramid Game."
Aside from her outstanding acting skills, it's no secret that she is the older sister of IVE Jang Wonyoung.
Jang Da Ah Will Most Likely Become Vocalist If She Debuts as K-pop Idol
In the segment, "Fill the Blank," Da Ah took her time to answer the blank spaces of the questions given to her.
For the first question, she was asked about the secret behind her tall height and the 01-born actress replied:
"Sleep. Go to bed early. I also eat my meal well."
Indeed, when she was introduced in the entertainment scene, Da Ah garnered praise for her tall proportions and impressive visuals, which is fitting for an idol, just like her younger sister. Due to this, a lot of fans have regrets that she didn't debut as a K-pop idol like Jang Wonyoung.

Nevertheless, Da Ah teased fans that if she became a K-pop idol, she would very much like to be in charge of singing.
"If I were an idol, I would like to sing well. I would like to try being in charge of vocals."
The star also hinted at the genre that she would like to sing by revealing her favorite song, saying:
"My favorite Karaoke song is Hyolyn's 'Goodbye.' I like OSTs. I usually sing OSTs and ballads when I go to karaoke."
Jang Da Ah Almost Became Dancer — Why Did She Choose to Debut as Actress Instead?
Even if she didn't become an idol, Jang Da Ah initially considered being a dancer. In particular, she attended an arts high school and majored in Korean dance, before deciding to become a full-fledged actress.
"Even if the world doesn't know me, I don't particularly want to do anything, but if I want to do something, I want to dance on the street."
She furthered:
"I majored in dance for a long time, so my nickname is 'turning turns.' Dance is a memory of my school days. I happened to see a video of Korean dance and wanted to try it, so I did it with a light heart, but I ended up having to take the entrance exam, so I ended up doing it as my major for a long time."
When asked if she had any regrets about debuting as an actress instead, Da Ah revealed the reason she chose to act, saying:
"I have been interested in acting since then and couldn't wait to graduate. If I were to go back, I think I would start acting as soon as possible."
Rather than being labeled as "Jang Wonyoung's sister," Da Ah implied her aspiration to create her own name in the entertainment industry and expressed her desire to be called, "Irreplaceable" Jang Da Ah.
She explained:
"I think it is important for an actress to have her own personality."
