SM's Executive Producer, Lee Soo Man, Will Hold SM Audition In Indonesia To Choose New Member For NCT
The executive producer of SM Entertainment, Lee Soo Man, has just attended Indonesia-Korea Business Summit 2017 on March 14. During his speech, he spoke his plans to partner up with Indonesia regarding K-Pop business.
As reported by AllKpop, Lee Soo Man attended Indonesia-Korea Business Summit 2017 together with leader of Super Junior, Leeteuk. He then revealed his plans to have the first ever SM audition in Indonesia to choose new member of NCT (Neo Technology Team). He was pleased that Indonesian enjoyed K-Pop and there had been many idols held concert in Indonesia, including SM artists.
Along with his speech, Lee Soo Man also explained his desire to partner up with Indonesian businesses in the future to create joint business ventures and more. There has been many Indonesian K-Pop lovers and thus such a plan is welcomed.
Lee Soo Man's plans seemed to be welcomed by Indonesia's president, Jokowi. Jokowi has said before that he has seen Super Junior's concert and thus it is no surprise that he could recognize Leeteuk. Having such a great time in Indonesia, Leeteuk then asked Jokowi to watch the next Super Junior's concert in Indonesia, as reported by TheStar.
For Indonesia, Jokowi has seen that K-Pop has gone globally and the respond is really good. He wants also to have entertainment industry in Indonesia as big as K-Pop. Previously, he has visited Korea for state visit in order to have stronger economic cooperation with South Korea, as reported by TheJakartaPost. Since his visit, the relation between both countries has gone closer as many businessmen attended the Indonesia-Korea Business Summit 2017.
For Lee Soo Man's plan to have NCT members from Indonesia, many youngsters need to be ready for the audition. With his plan, people will see more members from Asia countries to make K-Pop globally known.
