Super Junior's Comeback with 8 Members This Year? Who are Missing?
Super Junior fans known as ELF (Everlasting Friends) are already definitely excited about the upcoming comeback of one of the most popular K-pop groups later this year. Unfortunately, the super K-pop group is coming back with only eight members.
According to a Koreaboo report, Super Junior is poised to make a comeback this year after its members Eunhyuk, Donghae and Siwon are discharged from the military. The members have earlier posted on Instagram through its brand new IG account a teaser photo of the members' get together promising "Super Junior full group, wait just a bit more."
Based on the report, only eight members will be included in the comeback and its youngest members Kyuhyun and Ryeowook will not be able to participate in the new album. Ryeowook is still enlisted for mandatory service and is expected to be discharged next year while Super Junior maknae Kyuhyun was the last to enlist only last month. Kangin will also not be able to join the reunion as he has continued to lay low following his drunk driving incident last year.
Super Junior's Eunhyuk will be discharged as a member of the military band the earliest this year on July 12. Donghae who, served as a conscripted policeman and enlisted almost at the same time as Eunhyuk will be released from service on July 14. After their discharge they will have to wait another month for Siwon to complete his service on August 18, Korea Portal reported.
Other members of Super Junior who have completed their two-year mandatory service in the Korean military are Leeteuk, Kim Heechul, Yesung, Kangin, Shindong, and Sungmin. Super Junior's last album release was way back in 2015 called "Magic" so it comes as no surprise that ELF, their official fandom is already waiting with bated breath for their comeback.
