UP10TION Confirms Comeback On June 29, Physical Album To Release In July
Summer is shaping up to be an eventful season for K-pop. K-pop idol group UP10TION announced that they are making a comeback on June 29.
According to All Kpop, UP10TION will be ending the month with their online release. They will also be one of the first K-pop groups to release their physical album on July 3.
Unfortunately for fans, Wooshin will still not be participating in the group's activities as he has been advised to take a break due to mental stress. It was announced last year that the UP10TION member received a lot of hate from fans after he was reported to have assaulted Jeon So Mi. TOP Media, the group's label, explained in a statement that Wooshin's mentality has greatly been weakened by stress and that he will be taking a break from the group's activities until he is fully recovered.
In order to drum up excitement for their upcoming album, UP10TION recently released their latest set of warm up photos featuring Wei, Hwanhee, and Kogyeol chilling out in skateboards. The report hinted that there will be more warm up photos that will be released in the following days leading up to the actual release of the album.
UP10TION also released a sports themed concept for their upcoming album. However, TOP Media has yet to announce the title of the comeback, as well as the details of the title track for the idol group's most anticipated return, Soompi reported.
It can be recalled that UP10TION's last album was released last November entitled "Burst." The album had the title track "White Night" which was positively received by fans.
For his part, UP10TION member Sunyoul mad fans even more excited about the group's comeback when he said: "I personally feel very comfortable this [comeback]." UP10TION will be returning as a nine-member group on June 29.
