Soyu Shares How She Feels After SISTAR's Disbandment + Reveals Her Current Activities
2017 has been an unfortunate year for many groups as they either suffered from a change in their line up or disbanded completely. After SISTAR disbanded due to member Hyorin's desire to go solo, Soyu (the only other member active currently) came forward with her thoughts after disbanding and what she is doing with her career now.
During the latest episode of 'Happy Together 3,' Soyu appeared as a special guest and the hot topic of disbandment and her future career came up almost immediately. The young idol confessed she felt lonely and stuck stating, "After disbanding, I've gotten a lot less work. It was lonely because the four of us were always together."
However, Soyu did end things on a positive note saying, "Our group chat room is still going naturally." She also shyly admitted that "I've gone to noraebangs a lot." In regards to her current career activities, Soyu has been a feature on artist Primary's title track "Right" and is also working hard as a soloist.
Soyu also revealed that she is currently busy working on the release of a song she is remaking for next month. The song is titled "The Blue Night of Jeju Island" and was originally sung by Choi Sung Won in 1988. Other artists such as Sung Si Kyung, Girls' Generation's Taeyeon, Yurisangja, and more have remade the famous song with their own twists. Perhaps Soyu should also consider joining an episode of 'I Live Alone?' Stay tuned for more updates about the hard working soloist Soyu!
