With 2NE1's comeback, they also hit number 2 on the U.S music chart.

2NE1's new song, "I LOVE YOU" was released at midnight on July 5 and hit number 2 on the U.S iTunes Electronic Song Chart.

They have also taken over the music charts in Korea as well. Sites such as Melon, Mnet, Bugs and Cyworld have 2NE1's song ranking first on their charts. They are still currently number one on these charts as of 8 AM today.

The main focus of their new song is the strange mix of electronic and trot sounds. 2NE1, who has always been known for bringing the trendiest songs, seemed strange that they went out of their comfort zone by adding a trot melody into their song. This unique sound, along with the electronic beat, created a strange but fresh new vibe.

YG Entertainment stated, "Since their debut, they have always done hip-hop, electronic, reggae, R&B and other styles. It was time for them to challenge themselves and try something new."

Their new sense of music and style can be seen on their comeback stage on July 8 on SBS "Inkigayo."

2NE1, on July 28 and 29, will be starting their world tour, 'NEW EVOLUTION' starting with Seoul then continuing on to 7 different countries in 10 different cities.
