Group Boyfriend Successfully Completes Hong Kong Collaboration Event With Romero Britto

Korean idol group Boyfriend has been on fire since their comeback last month.

The six-member K-pop group, along with artists Romero Britto, successfully held their collaboration event in Hong Kong, titled "Energizing APM Romero Britto Pop Art X Boyfriend Charity Autography," on July 19.

Both Boyfriend and Romero Britto's loyal fans made sure to attend the event. For those who don't know, Romero Britto, who is from Brazil, is famous for his Neo-pop beats and is the official art ambassador of 2014 FIFA.

During their press conference in Hong Kong, Boyfriend shared their thoughts on the works of Britto. The group held a fan meeting afterwards as well.

Boyfriend, who is known for their impeccable fan service, held another event on July 20 so they could meet with more of their fans in the area. Despite it being over a year since their last comeback, the group's popularity clearly had not died down.

The members of Boyfriend, which currently consists of Donghyun, Hyunseong, Jeongmin, Youngmin, Kwangmin and Minwoo, made their comeback in June with their second EP album, "Obsession."

The group performed their hip-hop track during a showcase in Seoul in early June, according to Yahoo Entertainment Malaysia.

Boyfriend has had quite a few milestones in their career since their debut in 2011. In March 2014, it became the first K-pop group to perform in Puerto Rico, performing a two-hour concert for a total of 1,700 fans.

The boys of Boyfriend also made their first visit to the U.S. earlier this year, performing in Chicago and Dallas and holding various "high touch" events for fans.

Boyfriend has accomplished the feat of both winning and being nominees for multiple major Korean music awards every year since their debut. The idols of the group have also appeared on various variety shows while member Donghyun even made his musical debut in "The 1000th Man."
