Disney Channel Argentina Accused Of Copying INFINITE's 'Come Back Again'

There is speculation that INFINITE's debut song may have been plagiarized by a Disney Channel media outlet in Latin America.

A Disney Channel Argentina show titled "Violetta" released the track "Queen of the Dance Floor" last year, but has only recently been gaining attention for being very similar to the idol group's 2010 debut track, "Come Back Again."

Although it still remains unclear whether the track was plagiarized in any way, INFINITE's debut track is known for its distinct sound and one can't help note the similarities between the two songs. The song's composition, primarily the beginning and the chorus, are almost identical to the sounds of "Come Back Again."

Fans of INFINITE were even able to overlap the two songs, showing that there were very few differences between "Queen of the Dance Floor" and "Come Back."

There have reportedly been other cases of popular Korean songs being remade in other countries and vice versa.

SHINee's song "Juliette" and Disney Channel's "Deal With It," sung by Corbin Bleu, reportedly had quite a few similarities as well. However, it has almost always been the case that the foreign artists had the rights to the songs.

INFINITE's agency, Woollim Entertainment, was reportedly unaware of the fact that the Disney track and the K-pop group's song were so similar to one another.

"We need to contact the composer, and closely listen to the song's interpretation before taking any further actions," a Woollim representative said.

Fans have found similarities between other K-pop track and songs on the Disney's show's soundtrack, according to fansites as well as video-sharing websites. People have reportedly noticed that the track "Voy Por Ti" sounds fairly similar to Super Junior's "Sorry Sorry" while the song "Euforia" has noticeably similar characteristics to SHINee's "Dream Girl."

It is unknown whether SM Entertainment or the composers are aware about these similarities, as they have mostly been reported on fansites and YouTube.

Despite these speculations, INFINITE has continued to promote their recent comeback to the K-pop scene. The popular idol group recently released their repackage album "Be Back," and is currently promoting the title song "Back."
