U.S. Billboard Spotlights INFINITE's 'Back' For Its Dramatic Visuals

INFINITE has returned with another hit track for summer.

The seven-member boy band was featured on Billboard yesterday for making their comeback to the K-pop scene with "Back," only two months after releasing their single "Last Romeo."

"The boy band's latest opens quietly with a simple piano runs and leader Sunggyu's husband delivery on the first four lines. The song grows in complexity and intensity as the other members join in," writes the music magazine.

The media outlet continues, "Rapper Hoya croons the next four lines as violins are added; a subtle, 808 beat jumps in as Woohyun belts through the following four; then siren-like synths and an EDM buildup rush in as Sunggyu returns to belt up until the beat drop."

Billboard's K-pop columnist, Jeff Benjamin, also took note of the members' much tougher concept in the music video for "Back." The boys are seen working together to rescue a little girl who is captured by gangsters.

The music video keeps fans guessing by ending with INFINITE about to go into battle with the gangsters. Although news of a part two has yet to be announced, there is speculation that we may be able to see the outcome of the fight in the future.

INFINITE released a repackaged version of their album "Be Back" on Tuesday, according to the Korea Herald. The album consists of 15 songs, including their latest single, as well as some tracks from their second studio album "Season 2."

The album topped the Hanteo Charts in album sales and continues to dominate music-streaming charts.

The boys of INFINITE will be holding a small-theater concert, "That Summer 2," in Seoul from August 7 to 10 and from August 14 to 16.

Despite the language barrier, the members of INFINITE have been able to grasp the hearts of international fans as well as those in Korea.

"They call out our names and follow along with our songs. I don't think there's a large difference [between fans throughout the world]. Korean fans know Korean. American fans know English. Thai fans know Thai. But don't they all feel the same connection to music? Even if their languages are different," said member Dongwoo during an interview with Fuse TV.
