Group VIXX Sells Out For First Japan Solo Concert And Adds One More Concert In Osaka

VIXX is dominating the music industry across Asia as of late.

The six-member boy group will be holding their first solo concert in Japan and have even added a concert date due to the high demand of tickets to the concert.

"VIXX will be holding their first solo Japan concert on August 21 in Osaka and August 23 in Tokyo for a total of two performances. They sold out all of the available 7,500 tickets for these concerts," stated the idol group's agency.

The management company added, "For those who were not able to purchase a ticket in time, we will be holding one more concert in Osaka due to the numerous requests from fans."

VIXX has created a solid fan base for themselves with their Japanese debut album, titled "Darkest Angels," which was released on July 2. The album ranked No. 1 on the Tower Records' Weekly Album Chart and took a spot at No. 10 on the Oricon Weekly Album Chart, according to Yahoo Entertainment Singapore.

The members of VIXX traveled to Japan in early July and held a "high-touch" event in Kobe and Tokyo for over 10,000 fans.

The group's concert in Japan is followed soon after their first solo concert in Seoul at Olympic Park from July 18 to 20. During the course of their three day concert, the group performed for fans from Korea, Japan, China, Thailand, Monaco and Germany, filling a totally of 11,000 seats, according to Hellokpop.

During the course of the concert, leader N showed his love for his fellow members.

"I was able to stay strong thanks to our members who were always there for the hard moments. They are the reason why we were able to come so far. Thank you for being VIXX, who were able to do their first solo concert. Finally to my Starlights, thank you and I love you," stated N, according to Allkpop.
