The Last Of Us Remastered version for the PS4 is set to hit the market with a release date of July 30 as Naughty Dog revealed in a recent trailer (see below).

Temporarily, The Last Of Us will be receiving DLC add-ons for PS3 within the year as announced by Naughty Dog. Although no further details have been claimed yet, the developer said that most of the upcoming downloadable content would be dedicated for the multiplayer mode.

The upcoming Last Of Us Remastered for the PS4, however, would have the current DLC add-ons added once the game has been released including the "Left Behind" title.

As reported by Digital Spy, community strategist Arne Meyer claimed that there will definitely not have any for campaign mode as of now.

"We just wanted to say when we released the Remastered version, we know there's a lot of DLC out there, and that we weren't going to stop supporting both the PS3 and PS4 versions.

"We do have some DLC planned, it'll be multiplayer focused. We're not ready to talk about the details yet, but throughout the rest of the year we'll have some DLC drops."

Meanwhile, the creators have talked about a sequel to the much-anticipated game but no word as to it will happen or not.

Creative Director Neil Druckmann and Game Director Bruce Straley confirmed with Gamespot.com that the sequel is still in the works and is in the process of evaluating if the new game should be a "go" or "no".

"Right now I'd say it's 50/50," Druckmann said.

"We have such limited resources, and it's a question of where you put the resources," Druckmann said of the possibility of a PlayStation 4 port of The Last of Us. "It's something where we can have a feel of where the demand is, and where our time is best spent. It's something that we'll figure out as we move forward."

The creators of the game said that the potential new game is still in the process of brainstorming and they wanted to leave how the first installment ended.

"It's kind of like how we approached Left Behind," he said. "Can we tell people a story that's really worth telling, and that's not repeating itself? And if we can't, where can we get inspired--what is something that's really going to challenge us, and push storytelling in this medium forward?"

The Last of Us Remastered will be available this July 29 for North America and July 30 for Europe.
