Jay Park will be releasing a new track in time for summer.

The singer will to making his comeback with the track, "Na Na," which was composed by Jay Park himself and written by the former idol member and Loco.

The upcoming song was produced by ChaCha Malone and it expected to be a huge hit in the summer party scene once it's released on July 25. "Na Na" is coming four months after Jay Park's most recent single, "Metronome."

Park recently revealed an audio teaser for "Na Na" on his Instagram account with the caption, "The representative summer song for adults. Keke. Jay Park ft. Loco - NaNa Summer anthem !! #aomg #followthemovement 20140725."

Jay Park's background is fairly different from those of his fellow K-pop colleagues. The 26-year-old grew up in Seattle and emerged in the Korean music industry as the leader of idol group 2PM.

However, Park reportedly returned home to Seattle once comments he wrote about Korea as a teenager surfaced after his MySpace account was hacked, with the singer officially leaving 2PM in early 2010, according the Korean publication Newsen.

Despite the controversy that surrounded him in the Korean music industry, Park returned to making music as a solo act and has received critical acclaim since.

He won the Popular Artist Award in 2012 at the Asia Model Awards and was nominated as the Top Male Solo Artist for the Allkpop Awards and the Soompi Awards in 2013.

In early 2014, Jay Pack sat down with Fuse News host Liz Walaszczyk and revealed his plans for this year.

"I'm working on my second album in Korean and I'm working on mixtape in English. I have 100% creative control and it's rare. It's very rare," stated Park.

He added, "It's much more strict here. You can't do a lot of things that people get away with in the States. Even lyric-wise, you can't say certain things or you'll get banned or blacklisted. . .  I enjoy taking risks, it makes life more fun. I'm very ambitious, I work very hard. It's just very fun right now."
