U.S. Billboard Posts 4minute's 'MV Top 5' To Celebrate Their 5 Year Anniversary Since Debut

4Minute has officially been a part of the K-pop scene for five years.

Billboard published an article yesterday featuring 4Minute's top 5 music videos in celebration of the group's fifth year anniversary.

"While the five-year mark is considered the expiration date for most Korean idol groups, 4Minute appears to be going stronger than ever. Last spring, the group earned their first K-Pop Hot 100 No. 1 with 'What's Your Name?' and racked up three more Top hits since," wrote the music magazine.

The media outlet added, "With Stateside accolades with like headlining the very-first KCON festival in 2012 and HyunA performing at SXSW 2014, 4Minute's time looks far from up."

4Minute's "Huh," which was released in 2010 ranked No. 5 on the list.

"As one of 4Minute's earliest videos, 'Huh' solidified the act as a fashionable, badass female quintet boasting street cred and a knack for synth-pop bangers. The vid epitomizes 4Minute's earlier style as fierce alternative to K-pop's sweet and pretty girl groups," wrote K-pop columnist Jeff Benjamin.

The "soft and sweet" track "What A Girl Wants," which was also released in 2010 came in at No. 4 while their most recent hip-hop track, "What's Your Name," came in a No. 3.

The 2012 song "Volume Up" took the No. 2 spot as it gave fans a snippet of a more mature side of 4Minute.

Their most recent track, "Whatcha Doin' Today?," topped the list due to the impressive creative choices in the video.

The members of 4Minute sat down with TV Report's Kim Ye Na recently to address the misconceptions surrounding the girl group.

"If you judge us based on our looks, then yes, we seem aggressive and display an overall strong aura. This leads people to think that even our personalities are like that. However the staffs at our agency have no problem approaching us and consider us amicable and sociable. This is how we really are. Our parents are disappointed because of this misunderstanding that we're not. Even though being aggressive might prove to be a good accessory in our performances, we will try to show our really selves through entertainment programs," stated Gayoon when asked about whether they were truly "aggressive and uptight" as some perceive them to be.
