Group GOT7 To Make Official Japan Debut This October

Idol group GOT7 will be making their official debut in Japan this October.

Japanese media outlet Nikkan Sports published an article today confirming that the seven-member boy group will be promoting their debut single "SO LUCKY" this fall, according to Allkpop.

The upcoming single was composed, written and produced by 2PM's Jun.K. News that Jun.K is heavily involved in the creation of the track has gotten Japanese fans and media outlets even more excited due to the success of the idol member's recent solo album in Japan.

Jun.K reportedly worked on creating a song that would fit with GOT7's own unique style of hip-hop and rap.

GOT7 will continue to make their mark in the Japanese music industry as they launch "GOT7 1st Japan Tour 2014" this fall as well. Jun.K will be making an appearance during the final performance as a special guest.

The K-pop group's agency, JYP Entertainment, opened reservations for their upcoming tour and released concert information on the GOT7 official Japan fan club page, according to the Korea Herald.

"Although GOT7 did not make its official debut in Japan, the group's popularity and expectations are very big. That is why we are holding a Japan tour starting from October 7," the agency was quoted as saying.

GOT7 successfully held its first showcase in Tokyo titled "GOT7 Showcase 1st Impact in Japan" on April 4 and has continued to keep fans in Korea happy with their recent track "A."

Although the idol group has performed for fans multiple times, GOT7 members revealed that going on stage is the most nerve-wracking part of their careers as singers, according to the publication Korea Times.

"The stage is what makes my or our hearts pound. We prepare so much before we go on a stage, so there is a mix of anxiety but also anticipation," stated member JB.
