Lenny Kravitz Tour 2014 To Begin In UK; New Album ‘Strut’ Release Date On September 23! ‘The Chamber’ Singer Made A Deal With New Label Kobalt

Lenny Kravitz is back with his new album and is ready for a 2014 tour!

The 50-year old American rocker is set to release his anticipated tenth studio album, entitled "Strut", on September 23. This record will be a follow up to his 2011 release "Black And White America".

As reported by antimusic.com, this upcoming album will be produced by the artist himself and is expected to have guitars, drums, keyboards and vocal tracks all done by the New York native.

"This record brought me back to a place of what I love so much about music, back to the feelings I had when I was in high school," he explains. "It's a real rock & roll record - it's raw, it's got soul and it came together really quickly."

Meanwhile, after working with Virgin Record for almost over 20 years, Lenny Kravitz reportedly moved out and signed with Kobalt Label Services to release and promote the upcoming album - as told by Billboard.com.

"I am looking forward to my partnership with Kobalt," Kravitz said. "They have a passionate team that share a high artistic view and I am confident they that are the right partner to carry out my creative vision for this album."

Richard Sanders, president of the label, is also thrilled with the move that the artist made and is looking forward for the release of "Strut".

"We are thrilled to be working with Lenny and the Roxie Records team," Sanders commented. "Lenny is in peak creative form, writing and recording what we believe is some of his best material yet."
