The ongoing feud between Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato has been the talk of Tinsel Town, after the "Neon Lights" hitmaker unfollowed her BFF on Twitter.

However, such talks may soon be over as Lovato was quoted defending Gomez and other child stars that include Miley Cyrus and Jonas Brothers.

"You know what, I think the world needs to get over the fact that [Miley] was Hannah Montana when she was 16. Nobody knows her, nobody really knows who I am, and the same with Selena, and [the] Jonas [Brothers], and everyone that has grown up in front of the public eye. We're adults now," she told We Love Pop magazine when asked to comment about Cyrus' famous antics.

However, Lovato's comments obviously left one child star whose known to be close to her, "Boyfriend" hitmaker Justin Bieber. The alleged cause of the rift between her and Gomez.

Lovato has posted a meme supposedly intended for the "Come And Get It" songstress immediately after she unfollowed Gomez.

The meme which, has been deleted, featured photos of Lovato swimming with a caption, " Swimming away, form your bulls-t, bye b---h."

Demi Lovato's controversial actions were soon swarmed with questions on what could have caused her to do such things against her best friend, when Gomez even praised her upon receiving the Young Humanitarian Award.

"I want to thank Demi," Selena Gomez said in her acceptance speech on February. "Just the fact that we're here at 21 years old, and we've always talked about using our voice to help this generation. I feel like sometimes we're the only ones holding the fort and I'm so thankful for you [inspiring] me every day."

Demi Lovato even defended Gomez when the songstress was confined in a rehab earlier this year.

"Selena is, I've known her for 14 years and we've been best friends," Demi Lovato said in February. "[Rehab is] all of her business, and I just want to let her do her thing. And yeah, she's amazing. I love her."

Just like the rumored falling apart of Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez, speculations claim that Demi Lovato may have also grown tired of the drama involving Justin Bieber and Gomez.

Once again, Gomez was seen hooking up with her on-again off-again boyfriend following recent sightings of them being together.

Meanwhile, neither one of the two stars have confirmed nor denied the rumors of their feud.
