“Wonder World Tour in Seoul 2012” took place on July 7 at Seoul's Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium and the group expressed their gratitude towards the fans.
"We are only able to stand on this stage because of you," said the group to the 6,000 fans, "Thank you for always supporting us despite our shortcomings. This is our greatest gift."
JJ Project, a group from JYP Entertainment, opened the concert and Wonder Girls followed it, with their starting number, “Like This.” Their outfits matched their unique personalities and they gave a very impassioned performance. They performed hits like, “Nu Shoes,” “Sweet Dreams,” “The DJ is Mine,” “Girls Girls,” “This Fool” and their hit “Be My Baby,” which was rewritten into a jazzy tune.
Yeeun, wearing a black toned tight outfit, performed “Hello to Myself,” which was featured in the OST for “Dream High 2” and showed off her live performance.
Yubin showed off her version of “So Hot,” whereas Sunye performed miss A’s “Touch” on the piano and as a sexy dance version, sending the crowd into a fan-crazed frenzy. Hyerim, along with guest San E, showed off her rapper skills with her solo single “Act Cool.”
However, there was something that received more applause than any other. Each member dressed up as Snow White, Tinker Bell and various other fairy tale princesses and gave out presents to the attending fans and the stadium erupted in cheers.
The 2-hour long concert ended with an encore performance of “Tell Me” and “Nobody,” two of their greatest hits, and said goodbye to the fans with a video of “Wishing on a Star” and the group was surprised when the 6,000 fans sang along as one.
Ending their concert on a successful and heartwarming note, Wonder Girls announced their plans to be at JYP Nation, which will be held on August 4.
