HyunA's 'Red' Ranks No. 1 On Chinese Music Charts For Four Consecutive Days

HyunA has begun to dominate music charts outside of Korea with her hit track, "Red."

The 4Minute member ranked No. 1 on the Chinese music video site, In We Tai V Chart, for four consecutive days.

The sizzling hot music video for "Red" shot to the top of the In We Tai chart the day of its release on July 28. A phenomenon, dubbed the "HyunA power" has quickly spread through China, with music fans making comments supporting "Red" ranking high on the charts.

"HyunA's dance skills are clearly the result of months and months of practice," commented one user on the music video site.

The ranking on the In We Tai music chart is based on the votes of Chinese music fans and is known for showing which tracks are the most popular amongst music lovers and critics alike.

While the popularity of "Red" continues to spread across Asia, HyunA is currently focusing on promoting her new solo mini-album with performances on various music programs as well as through her upcoming reality television show, "HyunA's Free Month."

HyunA, who initially gained international attention with her part in Psy's viral hit "Gangnam Style," isn't being recognized only for her irresistible sexiness, but also for her ability to twerk, which is still uncommon in the Korean music industry.

As seen in her "Red" music video, HyunA knows how to dance. That's a fact that no one can deny.

Both her dancing and rapping skills have been recognized by overseas publications, including Billboard and Fuse TV. HyunA has gone all out in this video, spanking guys in Speedos and even wearing a monkey as a shirt.

With her recent solo comeback, the pop star has officially made it so that sexy and HyunA go hand in hand, which may have been her plan before her return to K-pop.

"My makeup and styling gives off a sexy yet healthy vibe, and I exercised a lot as well. I thought that I looked good when I wore my stage outfit and had my full makeup on during the filming for my [album] jacket. I normally have a young image, so I will show a bit more mature image this time," explained the 22-year-old, according to the publication Allkpop.
