"The Legend of Korra" has officially moved to online streaming only starting with episode 9, and here is where you can watch season 3 on the web.

"Unfortunately, it’s not available on iTunes at the moment," wrote co-creator Bryan Konietzko on Tumblr. "Episodes will be available on Nick.com at 12 PM eastern every Friday, starting this Friday, Aug 1st (the other outlets should be available shortly thereafter, with Hulu being a couple weeks behind the others). One episode per week, until Aug. 22nd, when the 2-part finale will be released. Thanks for sticking with the show! Some of the best episodes are yet to come."

What does this mean?

Nick.com and the Nickelodeon app can let you watch "The Legend of Korra" season 3 episode 9 online, with a new episode going up every Friday at noon. Rather than the initial two episodes per Friday schedule as anticipated earlier, one episode will be uploaded online per week until the 2-part finale.

Hulu is another service that will stream "The Legend of Korra" season 3 online, although it is only available for Hulu Plus users right now. As Konietzko points out, however, new episode will be uploaded slightly behind the Nickelodeon schedule.

Amazon Instant Video, according to IDigitalTimes, will be offering "The Legend of Korra" season 3 episodes to download and own for $1.99 per episode ($2.99 in HD).

Other options, similar to Amazon Instant Video of charging per individual episode, include Google Play and Xbox.
