Girl group AOA, also known as Ace of Angels, is skyrocketing in popularity as of late.

The seven-member idol group will be making their official debut in Japan this fall. 

The K-pop group has already begun with preparations for their upcoming overseas debut with the launch of their official homepage where AOA revealed that the official debut performance of "Mini Skirt" would be happening on October 1 via Universal Music, one of the largest music corporations in Japan.

"We found AOA very distinct among all of the K-pop girl groups, and we saw a huge potential in them," a representative of Universal Music Japan stated, according to the publication StarN.

Universal Music Japan has launched the debuts of big K-pop groups including Girls' Generation and KARA. Due to the entertainment company's notable reputation and AOA's impeccable performance skills, the expectations of fans are understandably at an all time high for the upcoming debut.

"The fact that AOA embodies both a band and dance concept sets them apart from what we've seen in K-pop so far and we respect that the members are trying to create a new route for themselves," stated an associate at Universal Music Japan, according to the Korean publication OSEN.

Both the band and dance groups within AOA participated in the FNC Entertainment family concert titled "FNC Kingdom" this March along with a showcase held in Japan in 2013, giving K-pop fans and music critics in Korea and Japan a sexy snippet of what they're capable of as a team.

AOA has been included in the lineup for the "2014 A-Nation - Asia Progress, Departure" concert that will be held in Japan on August 17 as well.

In order to promote their hit track "Miniskirt" the girls of AOA recently posed in a photoshoot for THE STAR magazine. During the course of the interview, the members revealed their love for what they do despite their hectic schedules.  

"Living today to the fullest is already a breakaway from my daily routine and youth," stated member Seolhyun when asked about what she would do if she get a break from the chaos of her current life.
