Singer Sohyang appeared on MBC "I Am A Singer 2" for the first time on the July 8th episode.

She is the second singer to join group B, following Seo Moon Tak, who had been consistently scoring in the lower half. 

With the news of her upcoming appearance, people started to dig into Sohyang's past. 

She used to be a CCM singer and was mostly unknown to the general Korean public. She had been nicknamed the Korean Mariah Carey, with her ability to have a range of a total of 4 octaves.

She has been seen performing "I Believe I Can Fly" by R. Kelly on SBS's "Star King" in March 2010 and blowing the audience away.

It is said that she is getting many requests from other countries for appearances and songs.
