Vanity Fair's European editor-at-large, Jemima Khan, hung out with One Direction's Zayn Malik - and joked that she's going to set up an arranged marriage for her fellow Muslim friend, according to reports. Jemima Khan even posted a rather scandalous picture of Zayn Malik and a blonde - but it wasn't his fiance Perrie Edwards. Did Jemima Khan know that Zayn Malik is already engaged to the Little Mix singer, or was this simply a harmless joke by the Vanity Fair writer?

According to Unreality TV, Jemima Khan posted the photograph below to her Twitter page with the caption, "Arranged marriages for @zaynmalik & @NaughtyBoyMusic"

The photograph depicts One Direction's Zayn Malik with a pretty blonde sitting on his lap, as well Jemima and another girl, with his friend Naughty Boy (whose real name is Shahid Khan).

The publication reports that Jemima Khan was with her friend Kate Rothschild at the trendy Chiltern Firehouse in London when they bumped into Zayn Malik and Naughty Boy.

A source at the club told The Sun, "You wouldn't have thought [Jemima] would have much in common with Zayn or Shahid, but they are all Muslim and spent a lot of time chatting about religion and relationships.

"Jemima switched their chat to ladies. She told Zayn and Naughty Boy that they should find themselves a good wife and settle down... And avoid getting involved with any gold diggers.

"Jemima teased that she could arrange marriages for them and then decided to cheekily spread the word on Twitter."

Jemima converted to Islam when she married Pakistani cricketer and politician Imran Khan in 1995 (they divorced in 2004).

While Jemima's comment was likely a well-meaning joke, we hope Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards doesn't take the photo too seriously. We're sure she's not pleased that her husband-to-be was flirting with these pretty blondes, but we know how much Zayn cares about his betrothed.

Just a few weeks ago Zayn and Perrie were believed to have gone on a camping trip with her family, meaning the two lovebirds are spending lots of quality time together. Jemima's jokes can't get in between a bond that strong.
