YG Entertainment Makes an Apology For 2NE1's Use of Animals On Stage

YG Entertainment made an public apology for 2NE1's use of animals on stage.

YG stated "We are sorry that despite our good intentions, we caused worries and discomfort for the viewers and fans. Because we wanted to give a good performance for 2NE1's first comeback stage, we may have gone a bit overboard. We are very sorry and we will never again use animals on stage for performances".

This apology was made in regards to the performance of "I Love You" done on SBS "Inkigayo". CL had made her entrance with a parrot on her shoulder. According to the staffs of YG, many professionals and staffs were present at the filming set of "Inkigayo" to make sure the animals used in the performance were not being stressed. However, it was not enough to dodge the rebuke of animal lovers.
