YG stated "We are sorry that despite our good intentions, we caused worries and discomfort for the viewers and fans. This apology was made in regards to the performance of "I Love You" done on SBS "Inkigayo". CL had made her entrance with a parrot on her shoulder. According to the staffs of YG, many professionals and staffs were present at the filming set of "Inkigayo" to make sure the animals used in the performance were not being stressed. However, it was not enough to dodge the rebuke of animal lovers.
