Group Big Bang Makes It Into Final Round For U.S. Billboard's 'FAN ARMY FACE-OFF'

K-pop group Big Bang has officially become an international sensation since debuting back in 2006.

The five-member idol group made it into the final round of U.S. Billboard's "FAN ARMY FACE-OFF," a competition held by the music magazine to see which fan club is the most devoted to their group.

Big Bang ended up taking 65.87% of the votes for the fourth round, which ended on August 3. For the final round, the boys will be up against the band Thirty Seconds to Mars.

The winner for the competition, which involved a total of 32 fans clubs and five separate rounds, will be announced on August 10 when the final round of voting ends.

2014 has been a big year for the members of Big Bang. The YG boy group became the first Korean male band to reach 100 million views on YouTube with their music video for "Fantastic Baby," according to the publication Allkpop.

In July of this year, Big Bang became the first Korean pop group ever to surpass 3 million subscribers on their official YouTube channel.

Fans will soon be able to experience the magic of Big Bang's performance as they are set to participate in the "YG Family 2014 Galaxy Tour: Power in Singapore" concerts on September 13 and 14 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, according to the publication Channel News Asia.

The boys will reportedly be joining fellow label mates Epik High and new boy band Winner for the upcoming performance.

The members of Big Bang have been focusing on their solo ventures this past year, with Daesung and Taeyang topping music charts with their recent albums. However, fellow Big Bang member TOP revealed during his interview with the Korean talk show "Section TV Entertainment" in May that fans should anticipate a comeback in the near future.

"I'm guessing Big Bang's new album will come out sometime later this year," stated TOP.
