A-PINK's Upcoming Japan Debut Gains Much Attention And Tops Tower Records Preorder Chart

Girl group A-Pink has been making headlines since announcing news of their upcoming debut in Japan.

"A-Pink held their debut showcase in Japan on August 4 and has continued to receive quite a bit of attention from local media. Their debut single, 'NoNoNo,' that will release in Japan this fall, also topped the Tower Records Preorder charts," an associate with the idol group's management company, A-CUBE Entertainment, stated on August 4.

Due to the immense amount of attention that A-Pink is getting from local media, fans are anticipating the group's debut into the Japanese music industry even more.

"A-Pink's own unique style and concept has gained a lot of attention amongst female fans in Japan. We should all keep a look out to see how A-Pink will grow and become a worldwide girl group like KARA and Girls' Generation," wrote Japan's top music media outlet, Oricon.

During the course of their recent showcase at the Shingagawa Stella Ball in Tokyo, A-Pink revealed that their official debut date will be October 22 and that they will be releasing their single through Universal Music, according to the publication Yahoo Entertainment Singapore.

Universal Music is reportedly one of the biggest entertainment companies in Japan and has heavily been involved in the successful debut of K-pop groups KARA and Girls' Generation.

Although A-Pink has yet to debut in Japan, the six-member group is expected to do very well once "NoNoNo" hits the music scene.

"The local response to A-Pink's Japanese debut is encouraging. We are being flooded from requests for interviews and such from local representatives. Please look forward to watching A-Pink making a name for themselves with their performance skills," stated a representative from A-Cube Entertainment, according to the publication Allkpop.

As the showcase came to an end, A-Pink member Namjoo expressed that "NoNoNo" is bound to be a hit amongst fans in Japan, just as it was in Korea.

"'NoNoNo' is one of the songs that we always choose as one of our biggest favorites, and we thought that it would be very meaningful to make our debut in Japan with this song," stated Namjoo.
