U-Kiss Woo Fans With Kabe-Don Videos!

Do you know about Kabe-don? U-Kiss certainly does.

In Japanese anime or manga, there exists a "tough guy" archetype wherein the man leans over someone, puts his hand on the wall and presses the person against the wall. The Internet has coined the term "Kabe-don" to describe this "bad boy" move, as "kabe" means "wall" in Japanese and "don" symbolizes the sound of someone hitting the wall with his hand.

This phenomenon has become a thoroughly dissected topic, with variations from the adorable to the absurd illustrated by online fans.

On July 23, U-Kiss released their newest album in Japan titled "Love On U," and are currently touring Japan on the "U-Kiss Japan Live Tour 2014." To promote their 15-stop, 34-performance tour, U-Kiss released a series of Kabe-don videos to enchant fans with their charisma.

Kabe-don may work especially well for U-Kiss, given their most recent Korean single which featured a more mature image for the boy band.

In June, U-Kiss released the music video for "Don't Flirt," which was rated mature for viewers older than 18. The choreography for "Quit Playing" was deemed inappropriate for broadcast, and was modified for promotions in South Korea. Kevin later apologized for the controversial image on Twitter.

"As you know, I'm part of a group and sometimes being a part of a group and working in the entertainment industry means I don't always have full creative freedom to do things how I wish," tweeted the singer. "I personally do not believe in the behavior portrayed in our music video 'Quit Playing,' and the characters we had to portray in this music video were not the characters I chose."

"I would like to apologize to our fans and viewers who might have been offended by the material in the music video and choreography. Thank you for allowing me to share my heart about this situation."
