YG Entertainment's Yang Hyun Suk stated that WINNER will make a Japan debut in October. To worried Korean fans, he claimed that WINNER's Korean promotions will be done thoroughly enough to satisfy Korean fans.

On August 6, Yang Hyun Suk attended WINNER's 2014 S/S launching show and press conference held at the Conrad Hotel. At a media staff's comment that Korean fans may be upset at WINNER's short Korea promotions, Yang Hyun Suk stated: "Since Japan is only two hours away, it's not difficult to go back and forth and alternate promotion regions."

He also stated: "Since YG artists aren't focused on TV appearances, WINNER will have more time to meet Korean fans."

Yang Hyun Suk also commented: "I don't want people to think that WINNER is a mere dance group - we purposely filled WINNER's debut album with sentimental hip-hop songs that could draw out the sympathy in people."

Meanwhile, WINNER is a five-member boy band produced by YG Entertainment. The band will release their offline album on August 14 and release tracks online two days earlier.
