"Castle" season 7 spoilers revealed that Nathan Fillion's character might survive the car crash unscathed, as Stana Katic's Beckett will focus on the writer's case.

Natalie Abrams of TVGuide revealed "Castle" season 7 spoilers when she said that it's unlikely that Richard Castle would be severely injured by the car crash based on creator Andrew W. Marlowe's earlier hints that the incident was far from being a "near-death experience."

"We're not certain Castle was even seriously injured. But Castle will certainly need all his wits to piece together exactly what's happened and why," she wrote

Showrunner David Amman teased "Castle" season 7 spoilers when he told TVGuide:

"There are going to be some unanswered questions and some really great mysteries that Castle himself is going to be investigating moving forward."

"Why does he do what does? Why is he interested in murder? What has gone on in his past? These are rich questions we haven't really explored," he added.

David Amman also talked to GiveMeMyRemote and provided more "Castle" season 7 spoilers in relation to Stana Katic's Beckett.

"She's committed to getting to the bottom of what happened with Castle. That's really her focus and her mission. She's going to do that, and she's going to take that as far as she can go to get answers. That's what she's focused on," he added.

But he assured that the mystery will only last for a few episodes, and will not in any way affect the "trajectory of Castle/Beckett relationship" because the producers know that they are very much in love.

The showrunner said, however, that they have a surprise for fans who might be disappointed that the big wedding did not materialize last season.

"We have something planned that we're kind of excited about, and we hope that people come back and play along," he said.
