EXO's Baekhyun was recently asked about his relationship with Girls' Generation's Taeyeon in a roundabout way.

While dating scandals still upset many fans, it is becoming more and more accepted for idols to date. EXO appeared at a press conference, where Beakhyun was asked how he felt about acting in love scenes for work when he is the only EXO member publicly dating somebody.

Baekhyun's response was very simple. "Well... It's for work." He added, "If it's for work, I'll do everything well."

The news of Baekhyun and Taeyeon's relationship broke in the middle of June, causing a lot of angry reactions from fans. Fans interpreted Baekhyun and Taeyeon's actions on social media sites as misleading and hurtful, since their loving posts seemed to be directed towards fans. However, after the scandal broke, fans reinterpreted them to be aimed at one another.

The backlash has hurt Baekhyun's musical performance sales, and SM Entertainment in general has come under much criticism for the way that the relationship has been handled.

Even so, the couple has since seen a lot of support, and both Taeyeon and Baekhyun have publicly apologized for keeping their romance a secret, this is the first time that Baekhyun addressed a question at a press conference.

The press conference was for EXO 90:2014, a new variety show that will feature EXO interacting with idols from the 1990's. The members will recreate iconic 90's music videos, making them more approachable for the current K-Pop audience.

Beakhyun filmed a love scene for one of the music videos. It's unclear whether the video was shown to the media at the press conference.

While EXO and Baekhyun were promoting EXO 90:2014, Taeyeon appeared with Girls' Generation at KCON in Los Angeles, performing for the first time since the scandal broke.

EXO 90:2014 will begin airing on Mnet on August 15, airing every Friday night at 10PM.
