Girl group SPICA recently made a huge accomplishment in their career, as well as for K-pop.

The five-member idol group was the first K-pop girl group to appear on FOX TV's "GOOD MORNING LA," officially introducing their new U.S. debut song "I DID IT."

The girls of SPICA gave a live performance of their new track on August 7 as part of their promotions. Leader Boa impressed the local media outlets by introducing their song without the help of a translator.

For those who have yet to experience SPICA, "I DID IT" features an up-beat tempo mixed with a 90s style sound along with elements of R&B. A U.S. producer reportedly helped with the production of the song.

After their U.S. promotions, SPICA will return to Korea and begin preparing for their new album, according to Yahoo Entertainment Singapore.

Along with their performance on "GOOD MORNING LA," SPICA participated in "KCON 2014" for the August 10 lineup, performing five of their hit songs.

SPICA has their eyes set on debuting in China along with their recent break into the U.S. music industry.

The girls of SPICA recently revealed that they are "looking forward to releasing Chinese-language albums," according to the publication Focus Taiwan.

The members explained that they hope to work with Taiwanese pop star Jay Chou in the future and mentioned that Chou is one of their "dream men."

SPICA has been living up to its name since its debut in 2012. Being named "after the brightest star in Virgo" must've put quite a bit of pressure on the group, but the girls have proven to their fans and the media that they know exactly what they're doing.

SPICA recently revealed on MBC radio FM4U's Park Kyung Rim's "Two O' Clock Date" that their name was given to them by Korean pop sensation Lee Hyori, according to Enews World.

"She's [Lee Hyori] a senior singer in our agency but we nicknamed her President," joked SPICA.
