A-Team, a group of 30 dancers from the Philippines won gold medal around the world with the recently concluded World Hip Hop Championship 2014 for the mega crew division held at Last Vegas, Sunday (Monday, August 11 in Philippines).

Philippines for the first time won the championship. Most of the country's previous winner in the competition came from Adult Crew category with The Crew wiinning in 2012, Armistice in 2011 and the Philippines All Stars in 2006, 2008 and 2009.

A-Team is led by two coaches Angelica and MJ Arda who are well known in the Philippine hip hop community.

The A-Team has been joining different competitions since 2011, winning 2^nd place in Slimmers World Step-Up Philippines, 2^nd Place, World Supremacy Battlegrounds 2012 Varsity Division in Sydney Australia and Champion at the World Supremacy Battlegrounds 2013 Varsity Division also Australia in 2013 and among others.

The said group was not only the representative of the Philippines who compete, the Romancon Dance Company of the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde also made their way to the adult division.

World Hip Hop Dance Championship 2014 gathers around two thousand dancers from different countries on August 4 to 10, an event that values the culture of hip hop.

The said competition featured icons of hip hop dance, the Chill Down Lounge, the presentation of the Living Legend of Hip Hop Award and the Urban Moves dance workshop who were presented by the most celebrated hip hop choreographers and dancers

Other countries who joined the event were Australia, Dinmark, France, Germany, Greece, Norway, Philippines, Singapore United Kingdom, United States and more.
