Jang Ri In's New Single 'Agape' Ranks First On China's iQiyi MV Chart

Singer Jang Ri In has returned with a comeback stronger than ever.

Jang's new single, "Agape," which was pre-released in China on August 2 and officially released in Korea on August 6, has been garnering quite a bit of attention and love in China.

The title track features a beautiful piano melody that matches well with the singer's vocals. Jang Ri In contributed heavily to both writing and producing the hit ballad.

The Chinese solo singer reportedly stated that she hopes that the lyrics to the song will help those who are going through a rough time. "Agape" has topped the iQiyi music video chart in China as well, sparking attention from fans all around Asia.

She recently showcased her beyond amazing vocal skills with her appearance on the Chinese music battle program, "Mad For Music."

Jang will be attending the "SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR IV" Seoul concert on August 16.

Jang Ri In debuted as a solo artist back in 2006 and is currently a member of the South Korean group S.M. The Ballad. Jang was dubbed the "Chinese BoA" and has become known as the next leader to promote the Hallyu wave since her debut.

Earlier this year, it was announced that S.M. The Ballad would be making their comeback after three long years of hiatus. Jang joined fellow K-pop stars Jonghyun from Shinee, Super Junior's Yesung, Super Junior-M's Zhou Mi, TVXQ's Changmin, Girls' Generation's Taeyeon, EXO's Chen and f(x)'s Krystal in promoting a new mini album titled "Breath."

Jang gained attention from media outlets in Asia once again with her performance of the Chinese version of "Breath" with Chen.

Fans of Jang will be happy to know that the singer is currently working on a new single now that "Agape" is a huge success.

During a live Weibo interview on August 7, Jang reportedly revealed that "a new single will be released after promotions for 'Agape.'"
