Is North West the newest "It girl" in fashion? CR Fashion Book sure seems to think so. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's daughter made her solo modeling debut on Wednesday in the publication's Legend series.

While French editor Carine Roitfeld's magazine quoted Karl Lagerfeld on North West's photograph, claiming "It's never too early to care about fashion!," one certainly has to wonder if the one-year-old is poised and prepared to take on the world of high fashion.

"North West. The Future." This heading beside the baby's calm face boldly proclaims Kimye's famous child as one to watch. CR Fashion Book announced that West is the youngest subject in their "Legend" series, which celebrates fashion icons.

In the photo, taken by photographer Michael Avedon, barefoot West stares off into the distance, dressed in Chanel. The outfit is highlighted by a flower brooch and classic Chanel handbag.

While the magazine does admit that thirteen-month-old West is "on the earlier end" in terms of age, it also reveals its grand forecast for the young style icon. "CR predicts a bright fashion future for the already famed daughter of Kanye and past cover star, Kim."

This magazine spread comes just as the world has been begun to receive more frequent updates about Kimye's tiny celebrity.

In a recent interview with Today show hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, Kim Kardashian revealed that her daughter shares her father Kanye's "angry face."

"Every time there is a camera out and paparazzi... she does this either mean or angry Kanye face or pose," explained Kardashian. "She'll be cracking up and then the second the camera comes on she [poses]."

Kardashian's brother Rob also posted photos of North West on Twitter recently, cooing over his niece. "Goodness @KimKardashian she's soooooo pretty!!!! LOVE HERR."
