Queen B is ready to take the kids back to school. Singer Beyoncé Knowles recently launched a partnership with the Brooklyn-based company STATE Bags to create a limited edition BeyGOOD X State Union backpack. What's better, with every purchase a child in need will receive one as well.

The sturdy yet sleek black backpack comes embroidered with a BeyGOOD patch. The exclusive bag includes a 15" laptop sleeve and an iPad pocket, and can be found on STATE Bags' website for $125.

The collaboration between Beyoncé's global charity program BeyGOOD and STATE Bags is the most recent example of the "XO" singer embracing the Brooklyn community. Since moving to Brooklyn, the star has frequented Brooklyn restaurants, worn clothes designed by Brooklyn fashion designers, and, most famously, supported the Brooklyn Nets, the basketball team that her husband, rapper Jay-Z, owns.

This backpack project with STATE Bags, a company dedicated to helping children succeed in the classroom, seems to match up with the star's own philanthropic goals.

US Weekly reports that State Bags co-founder Scot Tatelman recently stated, "Our #BeyGOODxSTATE GIVEBACKPACK Program and inspirational bag drop events go beyond a simple material donation by providing children in underfunded communities the role models and motivation to beat the odds."

"Partnering with Beyoncé's #BeyGOOD movement not only creates a platform for children to receive backpacks and school supplies for the upcoming year, but also drives them to reach their full potential."

Knowles' company BeyGOOD has also released a customizable set of school supplies just in time for the back to school rush.

The "Bundle by Beyoncé" consists of a Queen Bey T-shirt, two tote bags, a pair of colorful notebooks, pencil cases, a pencil for each song off of Beyoncé's XO album, and, of course, a locker poster of the "Flawless" icon herself. The entire set retails for $75 on Beyoncé's website.
