Kim Hyun Joong Loses 7% Body Fat for Drama, 'Conquest of the City'

SS501 Kim Hyun Joong has been working on his body for his new drama, "Conquest of the City."

On July 10, Kim Hyun Joong interviewed with a Japanese magazine about his new drama and the episodes that happened while filming.

"Conquest of the City" is a remake of a comic, with Kim Hyun Joong playing the lead role.

This will be Kim Hyun Joong's first action scene in a drama. He commented, "I wanted to show my fans and viewers a different side to me so I attended action school."

He continued, "I have been controlling my body fat with exercise and portion control. I have lost about 7% of my body fat." A man's average fat percentage is 15-20%. Kim Hyun Joong is about 1/2-1/3 of what an average man should have.

"Conquest of the City" will be filming in Japan starting on July 10.
