Lolita Dark Drops New Music Video for `Queen’s Decade’; Rayko Says `We Live and Breathe Music’ [EXCLUSIVE]

Lolita Dark is threatening us with new music. The Epic Rock Band took to their Facebook page to announce their new music video.

"QUEEN'S DECADE", the new music video from Lolita Dark, is here! Our team and director Daniel Kim have been working hard on this, and now we're ready to reveal our epic, chilling new MV! Watch it now! #lolitadark #rayko #queensdecade #jrock," proclaimed the band.

Lolita Dark is fronted by Shibuya-born singer/songwriter Rayko, who recently did a side gig fronting for the pop punk outfit Nylon Pink.

After watching and listening to the song on YouTube and being hypnotized by that swirly umbrella, this writer reached out Lolita Dark's lead singer Rayko, No stranger to KpopStarz. Rayko told us exclusively "We live and breathe music. Nothing is more rewarding to us than connecting with people like that."

Lolita Dark says they provide "the soundtrack & visuals for a world where light intersects dark, & East meets West." The band was formed in 2012 and has its roots in Southern California and Japan.

Lolita Dark consists of Rayko, bassist Rain Balen, drummer Joey Felix, vocalist and keyboardist Machiko, and guitarist Patrick Cabrera. Rayko is Lolita Dark's songwriter, lead singer, guitarist and guiding light.

Rayko is a multi-instrumentalist, "I've years in classical, opera and metal vocal training back ground, I play classical piano, guitar, drums, and getting better at electric violin  I went on a 45 city US tour with my other band Dig Jelly," she told KpopStarz.

Dig Jelly is the Los Angeles rock act of Rayko, Balen and Felix."Dig Jelly has been on a hiatus because our lead guitarist is Robby Lochner who has been touring with Jack Russell's Great White," Rayko said.
