YouTube singing sensation Marié Digby dropped her new music video, "Vanish" on YouTube last week and it's hot.

The first song off Digby's new EP "Chimera" has a mesmerizing melody and the video is a dizzying dance over a hypnotic strobe that burns into your brain.

According to Greek mythology the Chimera is a fire-breathing mashup of a lion, a snake and a goat, usually found in Lycia in Asia Minor. Digby was born in New York but can usually be found in L.A. and is a mashup of a guitarist, pianist and actress. She may not breathe fire, but she generates heat. But be careful, falling "in love with the magician leads to complications."

The singer/songwriter proclaimed to YouTube "I hope you all enjoy this music video for Vanish!! I was very inspired by my extensive travels through Asia and especially, traditional Thai and Cambodian dance and costume. This is the first single off of my brand new EP Chimera. I'm beyond excited to be sharing this with you all =)"

The music video for "Vanish" was directed by Kii Arens and choreographed by Ginger Broussard. It featured the dancers Hannah Blake, Christine Engelfried, Kirsten Marbert and Tiffany Panhilason.

"Vanish" was produced by Brian West. It is off Marié's 3-track EP "Chimera," which dropped on 16 August 2014.  Chimera is available on iTunes.

In announcing the EP, Digby wrote "You guys!!!!!!! (I can't use enough exclamation points for this) I am so excited to finally be sharing my brand new EP - Chimera - with you!!! I've been working so hard on these songs and videos for the last year and the time is finally here.. and I sincerely hope you LOVE it as much as I do. Chimera is a mythological creature made up of three parts, a lion, a goat, and a serpent .. and is fire breathing.. But can also be used to describe something wildly imaginative. I hope you're ready to come on a journey with me through my wild imagination and I hope to ignite and inspire yours as well =)"

Marié Digby is probably best known for her acoustic cover version of Rihanna's "Umbrella" which became a YouTube favorite in 2007 and was featured on MTV's "The Hills." Digby won the Pantene Pro-Voice competition in 2004 for her anti-bullying song "Miss Invisible." Digby appeared on "Last Call with Carson Daly" and played herself in a web series. Digby's fifth studio album Winter Fields was released on 29 Oct 2013.
