In the midst of their upcoming debut in Japan, fans gave a snippet of the wonders of AOA with their recent performance at the "a-nation" concert.

The seven-member girl group gave a beyond impressive performance at the "2014 a-nation Asia Progress, Departure," one of the most popular summer festivals in Japan, on August 17.

The idol group performed the Japanese versions of their hit tracks "Miniskirt," "Short Hair" and "Get Out," heating up the stage for their local fans.

After the concert was held, the girls held a "high-touch" event so they could interact with as many Japanese fans as possible.

AOA is keeping their promise of lasting "for 100 years" with the milestones they're achieving in their careers. The girls will be making their official debut in Japan on October 1 with the release of their EP titled "Miniskirt," according to the publication MSN Entertainment XIN.

The girls will be working with major Japanese record label, Universal Music Japan, for their upcoming debut. Universal Music Japan is responsible for the undeniably successful debuts of other K-pop girl groups including Girls' Generation and KARA.

AOA already booked seats for the upcoming fashion show "Tokyo Runway 2014," where 100 popular models and artists come together to walk the runway or perform. The show brings in an audience of about 15,000 a year, according to Allkpop.

The upcoming fashion show is expected to help with getting the group's name out into the Japanese entertainment industry.

Preparing for an overseas debut as big as this is rare for a K-pop group that debuted only two years ago.

AOA celebrated their second debut anniversary on August 9, posting a Facebook video of the members singing "Happy Birthday" in front of a huge cake for their devoted fans, according to Yahoo Entertainment Singapore.

"We could make it all the way here because of your amazing love. We will do our best to keep making better music. Thank you," said the members of AOA.
