Group Big Bang's member G-Dragon had a meaningful birthday on August 18.

G-Dragon's fan club "Always-GD' and 'Number-G' donated in celebration of G-Dragon's birthday on August 18. The two clubs donated a total of around $8,000 to the 'Seungil Hope Organization' that works for ALS hospitals. The amount equaled the date of G-Dragon's birthday (8,180,000 Won).

In 2012, G-Dragon had told his fans that were sending him endless gifts, "I will just receive your thoughtful hearts so please do something kind instead of sending me gifts." Since then, G-Dragon's fans have been donating on his birthday instead of sending him gifts.

G-Dragon also responded with a kind act. Without letting anyone know, he sent $80,000 to the same organization. It was a donation that was 10 times what his fans sent in.
