'Battle Of Myeongnyang' Reaches 15 Million Viewers In 21 Days

The movie "Battle of Myeongnyang" is now at 15 million viewers.

According to CJ Entertainment on August 19, "Battle of Myeongnyang" reached over 15 million views in theatres.

The movie has made records in reaching numbers of viewers in the shortest amount of time. It even beat "Avatar."

It has only been four weeks since "Battle of Myeongnyang" has been in theatres. Its popularity to audiences of all ages from children to seniors is keeping the numbers high.

In addition to the record breaking viewers, it is still number one in box office for number of tickets being reserved each day.

"Battle of Myeongnyang" is based in 1597 of a battle in the sea with the lead of general Lee Soon Shin. Actors Choi Min Sik, Ryu Seung Ryong, Jo Jin Woong, and Jin Goo, as well as actress Lee Jeong Hyun are the main casts.
