CNBLUE's New Japan Single 'Go Your Way' Tops Various Music Charts

CNBLUE has done it again.

The boy band's new single "Go Your Way" has already topped major music charts in Japan even before its official release.

The group's eighth Japanese single was seen ranking No. 1 on the Recochoku K-pop chart and on the HMV and Tower Records as well.

The single was written by CNBLUE leader Jung Yong Hwa. The track will be released in four different versions.

CNBLUE has kept busy, performing at "KCON 2014" as well as the "a-nation" festival in Japan. The four-member band's performance skills have improved noticeably since their debut and previous world tour.

"When we debuted, we focused more on the technical aspects and being the best with our instruments, so we lacked communication with our audience. But as we started to get more relaxed on stage, we got better at it. It really makes a difference in the atmosphere," leader Yong Hwa stated during an interview with MSN Entertainment XIN.

The members of CNBLUE have continued to pursue their solo careers while balancing the busy schedule as a part of the popular boy band.

All four members have branched out into the Korean acting industry. Yong Hwa currently has a role in the new Korean drama "The Three Musketeers."

The CNBLUE frontman was almost unrecognizable as he donned a fake beard and battle scars. The singer shed his boy-next-door image as he made his transformation into a rather elderly general, according to the publication Allkpop.

"The Three Musketeers" airs on Sundays on the channel tvN.

Despite their foray into acting, the four members have learned to juggle their new roles with their CNBLUE duties.

"When we're busy with dramas, it's a little hard to meet up for practice, but we make an effort to do it. Regardless of how tied up we are, we try to fit in as much practice time as we can," explained Yong Hwa and Jong Hyun.
