On July 12, their new title song, "I Love You" ranked number 1 on the U.S. Billboard K-Pop Chart. This song is from their new digital single that was released on July 5. This is their firs comeback in 1 year.

"I Love You" is a different genre of music that 2NE1 has never shown before. It is a song that can be enjoyed by people of any age as it mixes electronic sounds with a trot melody. This song also showcased a 'sexy' concept which was a new side of 2NE1 that we've never seen before.

With the release of this chart, they ranked high in all Korea music charts, showing that their popularity has not died down since their previous album.

Alongside 2NE1, girl group T-ARA ranked number 2 on the U.S. Billboard K-Pop Charts with their new song, "Day By Day" and SISTAR ranking 3rd with "Loving U."
