Did f(x)'s Victoria send out a message about herself, or Sulli?

That has been the question since the f(x) leader posted a mysterious message on social media amidst the revelation that bandmate Sulli is in a relationship with rapper Choiza.

"She's okay," wrote Victoria on the Chinese social media portal Weibo on August 19. "Don't worry. She has people who will buy her a blanket if she's cold, food when she's hungry, and wait in the rain for her. How romantic. I'm envious." 

The immediate reaction to this post was that Victoria was referring to the news regarding Sulli and Choiza, but the leader had since clarified the message to say that she was in fact referring to herself in the third-person.

"I will take care of [Victoria]. Thank you for your blanket. You let [Victoria] sleep warmly," wrote Victoria in an update.

Reportedly, this was referring to fans gifting Victoria with a blanket while she was sleeping outside during filming.

Despite this clarification, some f(x) fans are still skeptical over the true meaning behind the original message.

"She was obviously referring to Sulli. Nice save though," commented cvii on allkpop.

As previously reported, Sulli and Choiza were spotted on a date on the night of August 10, and it was their relationship that supposedly caused friction between Sulli and SM Entertainment.

"The two were of good senior-junior relationship at first but started to develop interest in each other, and are now seeing each other with good feelings," said Choiza's record label Amoeba Culture. "We thank everyone who loves Choiza, and please give the two your love and support."

Currently, Sulli is taking an indefinite hiatus from f(x) due to the ongoing rumors.

"[f(x)] member Sulli became mentally and physically exhausted from the continuous, malicious comments and false rumors, and has expressed her wish to take a break from her celebrity activities for the time being," said an official statement from SM Entertainment.

"After careful deliberation and taking her wish into consideration, we will reduce her activities and let her take a break for the time being."
