After tanking at the Rogers Cup in Montreal, Eugenie Bouchard has been losing that spark that she gained in Wimbledon. In preparation for the US Open 2014, Eugenie Bouchard has been working the American crowd to get them on her side. If she were to stand out from a group of very impressive ladies like Serena Williams, Simona Halep, Maria Sharapova and Caroline Wozniacki, Genie start doing Beyonce’s ‘Single Ladies’ dance on court!

Eugenie Bouchard, now playing at the Connecticut Open this week, definitely has American on her mind. She dreamt that Beyonce won the US Open.

Seriously, just put ‘Beyonce’ in any of your press conference quips and you’ll win the hearts of Americans all over the country. Do the ‘Single Ladies’ dance and you’ll instantly become an American favorite.

Serena Williams, Simona Halep, Maria Sharapova And Caroline Wozniacki better come up with something cool for the US Open!

A Montrealite herself, Eugenie loved that hometown support during this year’s Rogers Cup. Shame that she lost her very first match in the tournament.

The 20-year-old redeemed herself this week at the Connecticut Open in New Haven. She beat Bojana Jovanovski in a simple two setter, 6-1, 6-1 which lasted 53 minutes, according to Yahoo! Sports.

She also has been testing the American crowd’s sense of humor in the tri-state area. In an interview with the press, she gave her best shot at trying to decipher the latest addition to the English language: "amazeballs", "hot mess", "throwing shade", "side eye" and "cray".

Watch the interview here:

Just imagine if Beyonce comes to Eugenie Bouchard’s match in which the Canadian darling ends up doing some Beyonce classic moves. They would have to get a selfie together.

How well do you think the impressive Serena Williams, Simona Halep, Maria Sharapova And Caroline Wozniacki will do at this year’s US Open?
