CNBLUE Dominates Music Charts In Japan Once Again

Boy band CNBLUE has grasped the hearts of fans in Japan once again.

The four-member rock band's newest single "Go Your Way" topped the Oricon Music Chart in Japan, ranking at No. 4, according to the Korean publication Osen Entertainment.

Despite their ongoing success overseas, the members of CNBLUE have remained humble.

"It is so amazing that there are lots of people who love our music living on the opposite side of the world," said guitarist Lee, according to News Asia One.

The boys should prepare themselves for even more of this positive attention in the near future. CNBLUE's upcoming album is solely a product of CNBLUE, meaning all the tracks were written and composed by the four members.

"Go Your Way" as well as "Control" were written and composed by the band's leader Jung Yong Hwa while member Lee Jung Hyun did the same for the "Monster" track along with three other songs.

The band's most recent album started gaining the love and attention of fans in Japan even before it was officially released. It was seen ranking No. 1 on popular Japanese music sites, including Dwango and Raecochoku K-POP Chart.

CNBLUE already has a huge fan base in Japan. The group was invited to perform at two of Japan's biggest summer music festivals, "a-nation" and "Summer Sonic 2014" this month.

Aside from their success in Japan, CNBLUE recently heated up the stage at Stadium Negara in Kuala Lumpur where they were greeted by a large number of female fans, according to the publication The Star.

The boys kicked off the concert with their hit track "Time Is Over," getting the crowd wild as they sang in unison, "You want to hold me down, never can break me down."

CNBLUE has been recognized for their impeccable performance skills since their debut back in 2009. Although they're pros at it now, the members revealed that it took quite some time to master their ability to interact with fans on stage while performing.

"When we debuted, we focused more on the technical aspects and being the best with our instruments, so we lacked communication with our audience. But as we started to get more relaxed on stage, we got better at it. It really makes a difference in the atmosphere," Yong Hwa stated during an interview with MSN Entertainment XIN.
