Younha To Make Musical Magic In Japan This Fall

Korean singer Younha will be heading to Japan to showcase her stunning voice this fall.

"Younha will be performing at the 'Tokyo International Music Market (TIMM)' showcase. She will also be attending the 'Korea-Japan Festival 2014 in Seoul' concert as Korea's representative," stated the artist's management agency today.

The singer, who initially gained fame in Japan, will be attending the TIMM showcase from October 21 to 23. She is expected to be the only Korean artist that will be performing, according to the Korean publication Naver.

This year's "Tokyo International Music Market" is expected to bring in quite a bit of attention from local media outlets, as this is the first time a Korean artist has been invited to perform at the showcase.

TIMM brings in around 1,000 international music associates every year and is known as one of the biggest music showcases in Japan.

Younha's upcoming performance in the "Korea-Japan Festival 2014 in Seoul" concert is being highly anticipated by Korean and Japanese fans alike. The singer will be performing at the Mesenapolis Stadium located in the city of Mapo on September 12.

The 26-year-old songstress has a solid fan base in Japan as she made her debut back in 2004 with her track "Yubikiri." In the course of ten years, Younha has been releasing music in both Korea and Japan.

Younha is set to release her new album "People" in Japan on September 10.  Lately, she's been gaining attention in Korea for her rendition of hip-hop Epik High's hit track "Umbrella," which Japanese fans are expected to enjoy as well, according to enewsWorld.

"Younha's debut in Japan makes her different from other Korean artists. She appeals to both Korean and Japanese fans and has the power to bring the two countries closer through her music. She's expected to flourish with her ability to release incredibly deep music in both countries," stated an associate from her agency.
