Chelsea Handler took the hot seat on her own, soon to be ending show last night, answering questions from fellow E! Network host Joel McHale. In the interview she took swipes at the network, along with its biggest stars, the Kardashian family, who she has famously had beef with in the past. She even went as far as to suggest that McHale jump ship with her.

In the interview, McHale joked, “When you announced you were leaving I was like ‘wait you can do that?” Adding, “So now, all options are open.” Handler asked the comedian how many years he had been hosting his show, stating “You should get the f**k out of here too.”

Handler said of the decision to leave, “This was a move to distance myself from the Kardashians, everyone knows that,” to which McHale responded, “Good luck.” The hostess responded, “Wouldn’t it be amazing if I did leave and then the whole Kardashian empire just crumbled? In some stroke of crazy irony and happenstance, all of a sudden they just fell apart and then I was just a national hero.”

Handler’s beef with the Kardashian family is ongoing and well documented. In September of last year, she famously told Kris Jenner to “shut her pie hole,” after overhearing the family’s matriarch slam President Obama at an E! Network party. In March of this year, she took aim at Kim during a live chat with Gwyneth Paltrow, stating “I like Khloe Kardashian. I’m not a huge fan of the other one, but I like Chloe.”

After her current show ends, Handler is planning to move to Netflix. It was announced earlier this summer that the comedian will host a new talk show on the streaming platform, along with at least one standup special and four doco-comedy specials. Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos said, “Together with (Handler), Netflix is looking forward to reimagining the late night talk show for the on-demand generation, starting with the late night part.”
