Singer Kim Jong Kook joined the ice bucket challenge campaign.

On August 21, Kim Jong Kook's agency Urban Works Ent. posted a video of Kim Jong Kook fulfilling the ice bucket challenge on their YouTube account.

In the video, Kim Jong Kook said, "I'm so honored to be participating in such a meaningful campaign thanks to Lee Kwang Soo" and was soon dumped with a bucket full of ice water. He said, "I hope many people become aware and hopeful through this project."

For people to follow after him, Kim Jong Kook challenged Haha and he made a surprise appearance on the video, arousing laughter. He also challenged Goo Sung Won and Cha Tae Hyun.

The ice bucket challenge is hosted by the ALS association to fundraise for patients with Lou Gehrig's Disease. The person challenge must be showered with a bucket of ice and if not, they must donate $100 to the ALS association.
