Will Smith and Jada Pinkett open marriage has been constantly in the headlines, their unconventional relationship yet seemingly working relationship has made the public curious.

In an interview with Net-A-Porter magazine, the 42-year-old hot momma breaks her silence revealing the secret to the success of her marriage.

"We used to have all these rules, [but] as you go on in your relationship, you just get into a flow," she explained. "The thing I love is being in a place where it's just like, Will, to me, encompasses everything. It's almost as if calling him 'my husband' is too small of a word for what he means in my life -- and especially how I feel we, as women, identify the idea of a husband. I really had to mature and expand that."

Will Smith lovely wife Jada Pinkett Smith also admitted that she had "a very stuck idea of what a spouse's role should be," because of the rules being implemented in their marriage, but not anymore.

"Once I broke all of that, a whole new world opened for me and, man, oh, man, I got to see him in all his glory and so that's what it's evolved into," she claimed. "I'm just ecstatic about it."

However she did admit also that "It's hard to love someone, it takes so much courage and so much strength."

The mother of two was then asked about the controversial Willow Smith Moises Arias Instagram photo.

"Just don't pollute something that's not dirty." Jada answered.

She then added that effective parenting requires trust and that her style in bringing up her kids is not conventional.

"I want my kids to be happy and I want them to be themselves," the 42-year-old actress explained. "I was saying to a friend the other day, 'Remember, our kids are not us.' They're not. Sometimes we're trying to fix things that happened to us or projecting [onto them], and that's a terrible, terrible trap."

In a separate interview she told Us Weekly that she's more than proud about how she rased her kids.

"I'm not a conventional parent, which I take a lot of pride in," she proudly explained. "I don't just sit with Willow and go, 'Hey, this is what Mommy thinks. Let me just bring in a little reality to validate what Mommy's been talking to you about.'"

Instead, her ideal is to let her daughter experience the world and what it has to offer. "What I do with Willow," she revealed, "is I give her the opportunity to be empowered by having herself first."
