Lee Teuk To Join Super Junior For 100th Concert

Super Junior fans need to brace themselves for the return of the 10-member idol group.

On August 29 at midnight, Super Junior will be dropping their highly anticipated seventh studio album "Mamacita" on major Korean music sites, including Melon, Genie and Naver Music, according to the Korean publication Osen Entertainment.

"Mamacita" will consist of a total of ten tracks. Super Junior has already begun promoting their upcoming album by releasing teaser images, which reveal each of the members dressed as "melancholy, western cowboys."

Super Junior has been in the headlines as of late as their leader Lee Teuk was discharged from his military service in the most untraditional way.

"Lee Teuk will not have any special discharge ceremony or interview," stated a representative from the K-pop group's agency, SM Entertainment.

Lee Teuk's unusually quiet discharge from the army was soon followed by news that the idol member would be participating in Super Junior's new world tour, which makes the group's comeback all the more exciting, according to the publication StarN News.

Super Junior will performing their newest singles on the KBS program "Music Bank" on August 29, followed by performances on MBC's "Music Core" and SBS's "Inkigayo" on August 30 and 31, according to News AsiaOne.

Super Junior will also be holding three concerts from September 19 to 21 in Seoul as part of the official launch of their "Super Show 6" world tour.

The three concerts will be held at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul. Their third concert during the course of their world tour will be their 100th concert.

The popular K-pop group has a solid fan base all around the world. Super Junior officially became Hallyu superstars after their first concert venture in Europe back in 2011.

"It wasn't just a concert in Europe. It was beyond the border, which gives me so much confidence and pride," Super Junior member Choi Si-won told Reuters.
